One of my consolations about West Wing being over is that Lost pwns my soul.

That Jack/Sawyer scene? Greatest thing ever. And I don't even LIKE Sawyer. LOL. Just -- perfect. I laughed, I said awww, I admired the hot. Yay.

The Michael/Walt scene actually got me teary-eyed. Harold Perrineau and Malcolm David Kelley were amazing. In that moment, I did believe that Michael would do whatever it took to get Walt back.

So -- why Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley? How do they know their full names? How do they know Sawyer's real name?

Could Eko be any more hilariously mysterious and vaguely creepy? I think not. The Charlie/Eko scene was priceless.

I fully admit I liked Claire taking Charlie's hand at the end.

I loved Michael's reunion with Jin and Sun, and admired that I was happy to see that reunion even though Michael just killed two people in cold blood.

I kept WAITING for someone, ESPECIALLY Sayid, to think that Michael was "turned," and thank god Sayid finally came through. Because I am me, I kept thinking of "V: The Final Battle," when Julie tries to tell Mike that Sean's been converted? Yeah, just me, I know.

Hurley slays me. "She was a psychologist. Or a psychiatrist. One of those."

I loved that the flashbacks for this episode were of 13 days earlier. Awesome. Really, I just loved this episode, and can't wait for next week. I love being a cheap whore where this show is concerned.

I admit to being happy about the American Idol result.

I haven't watched Alias or ANTM yet.

I did watch the finale of TAR, and boy, was it weird to be watching a TAR finale by myself in my living room instead of being at TAR Con! Sob.

Yay hippies! I am pleased that they won. Really, I would have been happy with any of those teams winning -- I didn't exactly love Eric and Jeremy, but they ran a strong race and I can't begrudge them that. I loved the hippies adventures in Tokyo. The roller coaster task was one of the greatest Roadblocks EVER. One of the only times I've ever been envious about a Roadblock! I wish they had spent more time in Japan, but oh well.

I was touched by how emotional Tyler was at the end, there. Awww, he's a sensitive soul. I loved their Phil hugs and their we're-secure-in-our-sexuality man-hug with each other. Hee. They seem like good dudes, I am happy for them. And the other teams seemed happy for them, too.

I hope Ray and Yolanda stay together, because they are adorable.

All in all, not the best season, but an enjoyable one nonetheless. Yay TAR.

Speaking of TAR, the NY Times has an article today about how the show has been shedding viewers.

My parents called today, and my mom started talking to me about the WW finale. OMG the hilarity. "I was sad about Josh, what's his name, Malina, that he and the security girl didn't work things out." But even better was, "I was hoping there would be more with Charlie. I mean, Georgetown Law is good, but, I thought maybe he would go live with the President or something." WTFLOL.

Speaking of WW, really nice article here from The Miami Herald. Ahem. "Just hand Whitford another Emmy right now: He has continued to ground the series after it split into two separate shows, one on the campaign trail, the other at the White House." There's other nice stuff too. *g*

General Hospital was awesome again today. I am so sad that Finola is only on for a week. How can you not want her around after watching how she and Tristan set the screen on fire, I ask you? A hundred times hotter than anything else on that show right now.

Oh, and for anyone who's not on [livejournal.com profile] studio_60, the following was in a NY Times article today: "NBC executives said earlier this week that to protect their new entries from being overwhelmed by competition on other networks, they would revise the schedule they had announced. NBC could rearrange its schedule any time over the next month or so." Fingers crossed.

Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] angstville!

ETA: I just got spam with the following subject line: "Save energy -- make love more slowly." *dies laughing*
