Almost too much excitement for one evening. Thank god Prison Break ended last week, or I really would have had a heart attack.

I am happy to see that 24 continues to have the biggest brass balls on television. Too much goodness to recount, even.

Martha + Aaron 4EVA! They were soclose to kissing OMG. Mike Novik actually gets shit done instead of standing around like a douchebag! His little smirk to Logan at the end had me peeing. Oh, Mike Novik. You are so sucky, but I love you like that. Loved that Martha was totally in on the backup plan of hooking up Logan with a transmitter. Fabulous performance by Jean Smart.

Is it wrong that I really wanted Jack to torture Logan? Hrm.

I admit it: I loved Morris O'Brian. Seriously, WTF? How did Chloe wind up with someone like that? Oh, the hilarity. I really really really want him back next season. I also really really really want Aaron to be in CTU next season.

Bill and Karen: I may have squeed a bit. Just a little. Ahem.

The picture of Edgar and Chloe actually made me miss Edgar for a second.

I am still in denial that Tony is dead, by the way. Complete denial. Like maybe if I don't think about it too much, it didn't really happen.

No Wayne Palmer! Alas.

Jack coaching someone on how to kill a man? Priceless. Jack shooting Henderson in cold blood? Damn. Stone cold.

Martha sleeping with Logan: ewwwwwwwww. I had to avert my eyes. Grossest thing ever. Talk about sacrifice!

And the ending, oh, the ending. I loved the Chinese guy mocking Jack for forgetting about them, thereby mocking the audience by proxy. Hee. How is Jack going to get out of this one???? The Pierce/Palmer Wonder Team may have to go into action. Awesome cliffhanger. Slow boat to China indeed. *loves this show* Thanks for another ride, Joel Surnow, you magnificent bastard.

That was cah-ray-zee, but fun. Lots of fun. Ah, the sweet nostalgia of Rambaldi juice. Saw Sloane's resurrection coming a mile away. Zombie Sloane! Heh. Anyway.

Liked the flashbacks (Francie!), although, didn't they give us a scene where the CIA approached her back in the first season?

Isabel putting the thingy together at the end: wasn't Sydney genetically programmed to be skilled, or something? I guess she passed that on to her daughter?

Nothing makes me more upset than when Marshall gets tortured. It's like kicking a puppy. Just don't do it. Loved Carrie being on her man's wavelength.

No Weiss, alas.

Oh, Tom Grace. You had so much more potential to be all fucked-up and angsty. We barely knew ye.

Very not happy about Jack being dead, but at least the way he went out was very cool. Am wondering why he wasn't wearing a Kevlar vest, though. WTF? I totally teared up at the Syd/Jack scene -- completely heartbreaking.

Sloane trapped in a cave for eternity? Works for me. Although I don't quite understand how Nadia can "leave" him when he's the one hallucinating her in the first place, but whatever.

The whole ice sequence was so X-Files movie that it was freaking me out a little. Right down to the mouth-to-mouth! Weird. I also kept hoping for a Fortress of Solitude joke. Weiss would have made one.

It was inevitable that Sydney would kill her mother, I suppose -- I'm actually trying to remember if that was part of the prophecy, somehow. I mean, she didn't kill her directly, but, close enough. Syd's an orphan now, woe.

The ending was SO fanficcy, but I forgave everything when I heard "Uncle Dixon!", because that is just the cutest thing ever. And I love the idea of Syd and Vaughn chilling in their fabulous beach house and going on the occasional mission for the fun of it. Naming the son Jack was a groaner, but since it's the series finale, I'll let it slide. All in all, they went out with a bang, and for that, I am grateful. Well done, JJ. And the thank you note at the end was a classy touch.

Speaking of cracktastic today, General Hospital? OMGWTF. I felt like I was on crack just watching it. Oh! And I saw that Alexa Havins from AMC is going to be on the season premiere of Rescue Me. Maybe the character will take off and we can get rid of Babe? Eh, I should be so lucky.

Miscellany:

Greatest article ever? You be the judge.

Michelle Rodriguez got another six months for breaking her probation. HA HA.

Another article about how NBC is going to shuffle its schedule, complete with a super cute photo of Brad and Matt Perry.

One of the funniest clips I've ever seen. It's from Robot Chicken -- Emperor Palpatine is having a very bad day at the office. Go. Watch. Laugh.

And since apparently at least 60 of you want me to keep doing the WW picspam, I suppose I will do so. :)

ZOMG THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.

Also, why is Morris O'Brian made completely of awesome?

I don't think we should question these kinds of little gifts the universe presents to us.
