Drowning in catch-up stuff. Just quick thoughts on tonight's Project Runway.

I like Laura a lot less after the way she was with the dog.

Bradley is like some kind of fashion idiot savant. That was HILARIOUS that they were falling all over something he made in five minutes.

So happy to see Ivanka. I heart her.

Loved Kayne's design. Loved Robert's design. Love Kayne. Love Robert.

Tim was awesome tonight. Yay Tim.

Rant #1: For the second time, I thought Michael's dress was one of the best, if not THE best, and he was not left on the runway as one of the best. WTF? That pisses me off. Did you SEE the construction on that dress tonight? Holy crap. It was fantastic. I'm starting to sense a conspiracy.

Rant #2: Speaking of conspiracies: HOW WAS VINCENT NOT KEPT ON THE RUNWAY. He made a long black tanktop. THAT WAS IT. It was a long black tanktop with short black tights. And yet, Katherine is the one who got slammed for being too simple and uninspired? WTF???? CONSPIRACY.

Those two things really ruined an otherwise good episode for me. I can see why Katherine lost over Angela: construction won out. That's fine. But so much of the rest of it was mind-boggling.

On the plus side, the dogs were so cute I couldn't even stand it. Awwwwwww.

Off to bed. Real post tomorrow, hopefully.

I agree about Michael. He rocks, and they need to stop ignoring that. Rawr. And even I thought Laura's dog was cute, and I'm not a dog person, so she's totally an ass. Plus, her clothes all have the same vibe to me, and I think she'll be in it for a while but eventually get her ass kicked for making the same thing over and over. And Vincent sucks.

I'm with you on the Michael thing, too. I was floored when his coffee filter dress wasn't called out or mentioned at all, and then when it happened again? I just don't get it. Vincent needs to learn: no more hats. And I'm okay with Katherine going for the sole reason she disregarded Tim's advice. Tim tells you to make a hoodie, you make a damn hoodie. End of story.

I have no idea how Michael doesn't get the recognition he deserves... but I take solace in the fact that since he's in a lot of promo material and articles, I think he going to last for a very long time.

I really liked Uli and Alison's. Robert's was adorable. But I nearly died with laughter when the judges started praising Bradley! If they only knew!!

I was disappointed in Laura by the way she treated the dog. But she won me back with the way that she was ready to deliver the smack down to defend Michael's machine. (She was sharing it with him, but it was his right she was defending.) Which then caused Keith to make his "bad mommy" crack. Gave me the creeps. Yeah, Keith, I officially hate you now.

And I bet the reason that Vincent got a pass was because the judges were too busy watching the dog try to get that hat off his head. Nice strategy. Too bad he's not crazy enough to have planned it like that. But what do I know? Maybe he did! :-)

I liked Alison's total look better than Uli's, but Uli was much more outgoing with the fabric choices. Vincent blows chunks and needs to go home, you know, NOW. Angela and her bubble skirts can bite me.
