aj, bexatious and oeilade. No free cereal or front row this time but we still had a blast. There was a bit of a giveth/taketh away moment when it looked like Stephen was going to film the toss from The Daily Show in front of us; he came out to the desk and fooled around a bit and wanted John Stewart to say hi to us -- and then there were technical difficulties or something and it didn't happen. Oh well. We still got extra Stephen time so that was cool. And when he makes the joke about McCain's illegitimate black baby you can totally hear oeilade and I start the clapping, heh. Oh, and Tom Friedman was the guest, and for you Daily Kos readers Stephen totally made a snide remark about the six month increments. Good times, good times. Anyhoo, dinner with A.j. and Bex at Brooklyn Diner after and then back home...

When I finished squeeing over my Barbie, I watched a little TV.
Thought this was a blast of an episode, full of one of my favorite aspects of PB, its ability to put the characters into what seems like an impossible situation and then get them out of it. Still not sure how Michael's stunt with the water worked, but who cares. So nice to see him thinking again. I am pleased that once Whistler got cleaned up he was really hot. I am glad that Sucre dumped Maricruz (REALLY glad). I cannot stand Susan. The actress is just AWFUL. Ugh. I still like the other chick though, I hope she winds up with more interesting stuff to do. I hope Lincoln does, too, looks like maybe he does next week. Did I mention that Whistler was hot? Yeah.
I guess I need to upload some new PB icons. Sigh.
Um, what? I mean, I knew Jason got engaged b/c they gave it away in the previews last week, but still. WTF? And could that chick be more of a bitch? Granted, in her position I'm not sure I would be little mary sunshine myself, but still. I loved Lauren's little glass raise, classic. And I couldn't stop laughing at how Whitney didn't realize that maybe it wasn't appropriate to go out drinking with the subjects of your next day's photo shoot. Hilarious. Oh, Whitney. And how do you not know that your fiance has not spoken to his parents about your engagement? Isn't that the kind of thing that would come up? The hell?
Man, I hope Lauren really is with Stephen now as TMZ is suggesting. From what I know of him he's a good guy, just a flaky one. Better that than a douchebag. I wonder what went down with him and Hayden.
One quick note about GH: did Kimberly McCulloch look even more gorgeous than usual today or what? The hair and makeup were totally working for her. Also, someone informs me that the entire Aztec treasure adventure from the 80s is up on YouTube, I have to go check that out. Frisco and Felicia and Luke and Sean and Robert, oh my.

I, also, am really not enjoying Susan. And I have a bad feeling that they're going to try and pair her up with Linc later on, which...not feeling that. But all in all I really liked this episode. (NO MORE MARICRUZ. WOO.)
Jason's fiancee did have major bitchface going on. Can't say that I blame her, but man.
