I'm sure most of my f-list will disagree, but I was ALL OVER that cover of "Hello." OMG, must get a copy. And it's so funny b/c I just heard that song while out at dinner last night. Hee. Also really loved "Don't You Forget About Me" as done by Michael, but was amused that Randy apparently thought it was by INXS. As for the rest, I was mostly like, of all the awesome songs in the 80s, these are the ones you picked? Especially, um, two guys picking songs sung by chicks? The hell? Do we need to go through how many TOTALLY AWESOME songs were sung by men in the 80s? Geesh. Kids today.

It's tough to say who will go since it will probably depend on how much people care that David Hernandez used to be a gay stripper. Ha.



That was overall pretty damn good! I confess I totally got teary-eyed from the scene in the park, enough that I was able to ignore the "OMG hello time paradox!" scream in my head. And I join with the rest of my f-list in pondering, with wonder and more than a tiny bit of horror, the prospect of finding Brian Austin Green, um, really fucking hot. The hell? David Silver??? *shakes head* What is the world coming to? And, so, did the Terminator dude not kill FBI agent dude at the end because he knew FBI guy had the file he was going to need later? Or was it something else I'm not getting?

I guess I do hope this show comes back, although I'd love for it to be a summer show or something, when not too much is on.

Didn't watch New Amsterdam as I don't have room for another drama in my life, but am curious as to what people thought since that guy is hot.

Also I feel the need to share that the dramatic climax of this week's Flavor of Love revolved around the reading of a medical file that would determine once and for all whether one of the women had herpes on her lips. Or, as many of the other contestants insisted on calling it, "a herpe." Bet you didn't know there was a singular form of that word.

Meanwhile, work is KILLING me, you guys. I feel like I'm drowning. I would really be so much more productive if I could take one work-at-home day a week. I have no idea how I'm going to get done everything I have to get done (may have to bring some work home this weekend). It would be a lot easier if I didn't give a shit about actually doing a good job, you know? I suppose that part is my own fault, huh?

OH, and on the very crowded subway this morning, this big guy sitting next to me almost beat the crap out of this other guy. Got into a whole "are you lookin' at me? I will fuck you up so bad you need EMS" kind of crap. It settled down a bit when my assistant, who I didn't even realize was on the train, yelled at them both to stop. Ha! She rocks. My reaction, on the other hand, was to kind of laugh to myself when the guy was spewing his EMS bullshit, which is why I'm going to get killed one of these days.

Also, are people not liking David Cook's cover? I'm usually anti-American Idol (because I get very angry at how unfair it is and get too worked up about reality tv in general), but man, this season I'm hooked. And I looooved that cover. I'm sure iTunes in Canada won't offer it though.

Thanks for that link to the migraines... I get the migraine aura, and while I'm grateful I don't tend to get accompanying headaches, they are freaky. The loss of vision and then the swirling dancing patterns and mosaics...I saw the photo of the Middle Eastern arch (?) out of the corner of my vision while I was reading the article and had to remind myself that I wasn't having a migraine.

Would've liked to know whether those with auras also tend to get the numbness/pins and needles in hands/arms/face/mouth/throat. Can almost feel out of body at times.

I loved "Hello," too! I just thought David Cook was ok up until that song. Wow! Also, David Hernandez! I think I like him MORE because of the stripper thing. I voted for everyone except Luke, Chikezie and Jason. Of those 3 I think Jason is the best, but if he went home I wouldn't care much.
