I do not like country music, not even Dolly Parton country music, so tonight was going to be meh for me regardless, and it was. Thought David C. and Syesha were excellent, thought Jason, Carly, Michael and David A. were very good, Brooke was fine and Kristy Lee and Ramiele sucked. Syesha will probably go home, unless America comes back to their senses regarding Kristy Lee.



I am SO BITTER that Jim got eliminated before makeover week! Because I think with a haircut and the beard shaved and better glasses he would probably be pretty cute. Damn you, Tom, for your "fair" method of selection! Oy. I was really sad to see Jim and Tiffany go, I think they would have had such an amazing effect on each other. Oh well.

dionusia wins the internets today for her bizarro-world angst-free, drama-free version of BSG. Truly hilarious, especially for Lee/Kara and Bill/Laura fans.

Speaking of BSG the official site did a season four re-launch today. (They sure are proud of that EW picture, aren't they?) And I finally watched the eight-minute "What the frak is going on?", which was pretty damn funny.

Experts now recommend hands-only CPR. Interesting.

Rebuilding in New Orleans? Still not happening.

Daily Candy totally April Fooled me with this today. Dammit! In my defense, part of that is because I only skimmed the article, didn't read it too closely. Now, if I had gotten this Heidiwood one in my inbox instead, I would have caught on to the joke. Curses!

Oh my! I really think it's a show you need to watch from the very beginning, or else you're going to miss out on a lot. Rent the first disc of the miniseries and take it from there. :) (You'll love it, though -- I got girlunravelled to watch by explaining it's basically West Wing in space.)

So much WORD about the state of TWoP these days! I hadn't gone there in a while and then last week I needed to check something and though that the ever cool, random knowledge obsessed TWoP couch potatoes will surly have the answer....and got shocked! The once witty, bitchy, fun and damn funny site has gone uber corporate with streaming video and recapping mainstream comedies and not even making fun of Dansing with the Stars. I mean....come on! You have to be bothering with DWTS, only for sadistic/snarking purposes, and not to try and sell me your latest tshirt.
