quick note

Sorry I haven't been around too much the past few days. I'm especially ashamed of not responding more to comments lately. (I know I owe a couple of you emails, as well.) Just having a lot of trouble with stuff lately (and the cat is worrying me, AGAIN) and have been busy and very tired (I've been having to get into work at 9 AM, oh, the horror). I'm hoping to catch up this weekend.
I will share this bit of news I got from a co-worker, I'm not sure of the source:
"Because there isn't enough comic book movie news about these days, Marvel and 20th Century Fox are looking to reset the X-Men Franchise with a fourth film that picks up the heroes' history in their collective youth.
Josh Schwartz, the creator of Gossip Girl and The O.C., is onboard to write this version of "X-Men babies." Schwartz reported that he's working on a story about the Uncanny lot and their first days with Professor Xavier.
This isn't the first time Marvel has looked back in hope of coming up with future films. Sheldon Turner wrote an as of yet unmade Magneto prequel, and 2009 will see the arrival of Hugh Jackman in X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
Gossip Girl + X-Men = Sign Me UP.
Also, I am pleased about the AI results tonight. From what I read in the recent EW, tonight's voted off Idol is probably very relieved.
OK. More soon. I hope.
