In other words, American Idol is back! I will now be in a very happy state until a few weeks from now when I start hating everyone. I'm undecided on new chick so far, except to wonder why so many people (including Ron Moore) have trouble pronouncing the name "Kara." It's not hard. I kind of like that she's a bitch, but I think I haven't decided yet if she's a good bitch, or a bad bitch. *g* Seacrest, of course, was delightful, especially when he was pretending to actually be interested in a hot girl in a bikini.
I still haven't watched the second part of 24 yet, shame on me. Especially since in the past two days I *have* managed to watch not just AI, but also A Real Chance of Love and A Double Shot at Love. I apologize to the universe. (Anyone who saw the Real Chance finale needs to come in here and talk to me about it, though. Bex? Anyone?)
Can't say I'm surprised or overly upset about Prison Break being canceled. It's time. Will miss Wentworth on my TV screen, though.
So after I bitched to Karmaloop, they are now tracking my UPS package as well as my having filed a claim. I have been unsuccessful so far in getting UPS to take any blame for leaving a package out in the open in an apartment building. Big shock.
I also received a bill for $18 today from Cablevision (my former cable company), which is hilarious because last time I called they said they were sending me a CHECK for $18. Jesus Christ.
And I slept through my subway stop today. How embarrassing is that? I only missed it by one stop, but still. I usually wake up just in time to get off at the right place. *g*
On a more positive note, I am pleased that
bsg_100 has 60 watchers so far and lots of great drabbles have been posted already! Come join the fun!
Next Friday I'm going to Belize. How crazy is that? I am concerned about the weather forecast, though. I have a horrible feeling it's going to be rainy. Oh well. Do they let you snorkel in the rain?
ETA: OMG Bradley Whitford and Rahm Emanuel in the same photo. *head explodes*

passed outfell asleep on the train and ended up in Yokohama. Now that's embarrassing, haha.Belize! I'm so jealous! Random: Wash your snorkel mask with Johnson's No More Tears Baby Shampoo to prevent fogging. :)

Date: 2009-01-14 05:54 am (UTC)You didn't miss too much on Shot at Love, it was the home visits. But you should watch it if you can b/c they go to Rosemarie's family on Staten Island and it is SO STATEN ISLAND oh my god. Hilarious. And Scott's family was freaking awesome, Rebekah's family was weird, and Trevor's family was uptight. They wound up eliminated Rosemarie which really wasn't a surprise. Oh, and the twins got in a big fight when they were discussing who to send home and Vikki actually pushed Rikki over, she was so pissed. It was awesome.

Date: 2009-01-14 05:59 am (UTC)I have wanted to slap BBB since day one, she is such a trashy bitch. Both in the interviews and in the onscreen antics, I swear she was better suited for Chance because both of them are gutter-ish.
I feel bad for Corn Fed because I truly think she was there for the right reasons, but she is from middle America and even though Real is (seems) pretty normal, I am sure the lifestyle blows it up for them.
Reunion next week!
