Tonight on Chuck (which was fabulous btw), they played a song which was a swing-sounding version of "Walk Like an Egyptian." So awesome. [livejournal.com profile] kopernik, I am counting on you to track this down for me, as it seems right up your alley. Just sayin'.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT BILL NO NO NO! That was VERY VERY SAD. WOE. But, this is 24 where anybody can die, and usually does. Still: DAMMIT. Poor Karen! And Jack looked so broken. Renee totally wanted to comfort him, heh heh.

Can someone remind me what happened to Martha Logan? Because I have no memory of it. Aaron scene FTW. And is Olivia kind of a badass? Hmmm. I still don't trust Ethan and keep waiting for him to turn out to be in on the whole thing.

Jack is totes going to go on the lam and Renee will help him. Heeeeeee. They seriously make me giddy.

Why do they always make the VP a douche, though? It's getting tired.

Still, awesome and next week looks crazy exciting. Yay. RIP BILL.

I watched about 20 minutes of Castle and had to turn it off. Wow, that was terrible.

So TV Guide is going to have two BSG covers, and Jamie is not on either because he is in the UK, woe, but it is made up for by the fact that James looks really fucking hot. DAMN. I will be buying that cover, thank you. Katee and Tricia look pretty good, too. ;)

The Viewmaster is being discontinued. WOE.

The Story of a Foreclosure Cat. Victims of the housing crisis include household pets who are left behind after a family is forced to move. Makes me sick.

But pink dolphins are cute!

Morena Baccarin is getting the Jane Badler role in V. I would feel better about this if Morena Baccarin could act. *ducks angry Firefly fans*

Database of cosmetics safety. Interesting. I will be checking that out.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, iTunes just emailed me to say that my pre-order for Kelly's album is now available! *off to download and put on my iPod for tomorrow*

ETA: OMG more Carrie Fisher love: I was in San Francisco partly to go to this Comicon thing—–maybe it was called Wondercom, but I doubt it. LOLZ.

Yep, I definitely know which TV Guide cover I'll be getting. :) Couldn't they photoshop Jamie in? It's just so weird and wrong that he's not on the "farewell" cover. I imagine that EW will have a farewell cover too, so hopefully we will be more lucky with that one.

Poor Viewmaster. But I guess the entire Internet is everyone's viewmaster now.

Yeah, I'm hoping EW would have the budget to take a pic of him over there and Photoshop him in or something. Sigh.

The Viewmaster thing makes me sort of blemo. My nephew loves the one I got him.

There was a story on the local news a couple months back about people giving up their pets because they couldn't afford them anymore and it upset me so much. So I'm sort of afraid to click on the foreclosure story.

On the flipside, clicking on the link to see that hawt pics of James was win.

Did you read CF's memoir "Wishful Drinking"? It took about 30 minutes to read, had the most awesomest cover ever, and was really, really funny.

I own it but haven't read it yet. I did see her stage version of it, though, which was amazing.

That song on Chuck was AWESOME. I demand that you share if you do find a copy!

Awww, no more Viewmaster? booo, world. The line about kids wanting the DVD on Dad's backseat really summed it up for me, though. I see people driving around town with the DVD players on. It must be nice to let the electronics do your parenting for you... *death glare of extreme annoyance*

Oh no; really? I haven't watched it yet. I lurve Nathan Fillion and was really hoping it was going to be worthwhile. Boo.

as quoted in the article: Jamie Bamber, Lee "Apollo" Adama: “In the finale, it goes back to the beginning of Apollo and Starbuck, and you see where they come from. I think it’s as satisfying as it can be.”

really?!? they had better not be jerking me around with this!!!

... were we watching the same show? *g* I thought it had some pilot pains (Kate definitely needs work) but was generally great. Helps that I love Nathan, of course.

I am more immune to Nathan's charms than most. ;) Plus I have a low tolerance for crime dramas anyway. I mostly just thought the dialogue was painful. (And don't get me started on the publishing stuff. *g*)

I hadn't even seen the episode when I saw this and it does sound v. v. me, so I ran right over to the NBC boards to see if I could find the artist. Answer: The Puppini Sisters, who I pimped a while back because of their I Will Survive cover. So, good call!

I've got the song now, but it's not uploaded yet. It's coming, though.
