OK, realized I need to post this stuff in chunks or it will NEVER GET POSTED. So here are pictures and video of Aaron Douglas and friends at the Emissary panel, and pictures of Eve Myles at the Torchwood panel.
This will be light on text, I think, mainly just pictures and videos, since I don't remember much at this point anyway. :P
Friday evening was the panel for "Emissary," a series which does not actually exist yet, created by and starring Philip Morris, aka Jackie Chiles from Seinfeld and That Guy from a bunch of other stuff. I went because also starring in the series will be Aaron Douglas. The other panelists were Brian Thompson, the Mighty Morphin Bounty Hunter from XF, Thaao Penglis from daytime fame, and Yuri Lowenthal, who's apparently been in some stuff.
As much as I love Aaron, the best part of the panel was Brian Thompson. First off, he was late, and when he strolled in about ten minutes in he totally took over. The best part was when he proceeded to get up and get some water, then brought the water pitcher over and served all of his fellow panelists. I got a little bit of video of the end of that:
Other stuff I remember:
The cast basically came together when they were all hanging out at DragonCon, LOL. They had such a good time hanging out that they wanted to work together again, so Phil made it happen. Aaron plays a cop and made a joke about always playing law enforcement officers. There was a lot of homoerotic humor centering on Aaron and Yuri Lowenthal. Thaao Penglis is an amateur archaeologist! I thought that was interesting. Let's just cut to the pictures and video:

Here's Brian arriving.

Indignant.

Aaron staring off into space.

Aaron and Yuri, who were clearly buds.

Brian Thompson pwning again.
And the rest of the video:
Here's Phil talking about the plot of Emissary, if you're so inclined:
Here's Thaao for you daytime fans:
Here's Aaron talking about his character and cracking jokes about Star Wars and doing his Jackie Chiles impression:
And Aaron and Yuri cutting up, complete with Aaron saying, "They're filming this!" as his eyes flit to me. LOL.
Saturday was the Torchwood panel with Eve Myles.
Eve is absolutely adorable and giggles a lot and was exceedingly patient with the fans, who asked a lot of really stupid and embarrassing questions, which Torchwood fans are wont to do. Not that I can really remember any of them now. There was a lot of talk about Jack kissing anything that moves, and Eve said something about John Barrowman farting a lot, and they showed a preview of the new season which looked really cool. She talked about how with the loss of Tosh and Owen the other three of them have really had to come together as a team, and Rhys is very much a part of it too, and it looks like Gwen gets to be pretty kick-ass next season, which Eve was happy about. Anyway, she was very charming and disarming and only slightly overwhelmed (the room was PACKED). Oh, and of course there were a couple of fans who had brought her a gift, which she accepted graciously instead of having security inspect it first as I would have. Here are some pics of Eve:

The guy with her is one of the directors, whose name I'm blanking on but I'm sure
intopolitics will set me straight.

I'll get the Dollhouse and Fringe stuff up later in the week.
