So, Fringe was kind of awesome this week, y/y? That video was CREEPY. And the visual of the people standing on the roof.... *shudder* Really well done episode. I'm so happy that this show has upped its game. Especially since I believe it is actually doing okay and will probably be back next season.

On the other hand, Reaper has been delightful as well but it's bittersweet to watch since it's probably not coming back. Woe.

I thought Supernatural was quite good tonight as well. Cousin Oliver's, LOL.

Then I watched an episode of My Name Is Earl from December. My DVR is a DISASTER.

So there's a rumor that Gillian Anderson might be on the 2010 season of Doctor Who. The season I wasn't planning on watching. DAMMIT.

Unless RTD brings the Time Lords back in the finale (something Moff seems none too keen on) I'm pretty sure that rumor is bullshit. She'd be awesome as the Rani, though. I think the Rani is a totally excellent baddie.

Background on the Rani: she's a female Time Lord who went to school with the Doctor and the Master. She's a Time Lord scientist who fucked off and used to rule a planet where she basically uplifted the species to worship her.

Also, she clones dinosaurs. Trufax.

Unfortunately, I think the bringing back of Time Lords other than the Master is unlikely to happen, even for the Time Lords who were on his rogue's gallery. (I'd also like to see them bring back the Meddling Monk, whose whole motif was that he was in it for the lulz.)

ETA: Technically the Rani might have an out, though, since the last time we see her on TV her TARDIS is getting sucked into a parallel universe. Except she returns in one of the spin-off media and I'd be pretty pissed if they ignore that so the Rani gets to come back from a parallel universe but Romana is still dead.

Fringe was definitely awesome this week. It's had it's less-than-great moments and there has been a bit of a "monster of the week " element here and there, but then I guess if you've got 20+ episodes per season, there have to be some episodes that just tick over. This one and Ability have been two of the best so far - is Mr Jones coming back?

If I have one teeny complaint - I think it's about time we started to find out a bit more about Peter and his shady past.
