Man, you know you are behind on LJ when by the end your forefinger hurts from the scroll button on the mouse. WTF.

I've been super busy ever since I got back from Virginia, with barely a moment to breathe. Luckily tomorrow is the first day of work this week where I have no meetings or doctor's appointments, so I am looking forward to some quiet and actually getting real work done.

Luckily, some of the busyness has been lovely, like last night when I got to have dinner with the visiting twinparadox and snacktime, neither of whom I get to see as often as I would like. I'm seeing snacktime again tomorrow night so it's all good.

And I did get two pieces of good news today: the first is that, as long as my flight into San Diego is not unduly delayed, I should be able to attend the Psych panel at Comic Con! I know you were all REALLY worried about that, so go ahead and breathe a sigh of relief. ;P I WAS worried, though, so am happy about this piece of news.

The second piece of news is that Tim Horton's is coming to NYC! (Apologies to those of you who already saw this on Twitter.) And not only are there going to be 13 locations replacing Dunkin Donuts, but they are also moving in to three Coldstone Creamery locations, and I quote, "which will hopefully clear the way for items like “muffin ‘bowls’ (i.e., with the tops removed) to serve ice cream in, ice cream-based coffee drinks or donut piece mix-ins for the ice cream as potential exclusive menu items at the co-branded locations.” OMG. OMG!!! I am dying here. Oh god I am going to be fat forever.

I tried to watch Burn Notice tonight but USA crapped out on me. WTF. I'm recording the midnight showing instead.

I was so SO WORRIED about Ade, you guys. I love him and Melissa. I was pretty sure Caitlin would go, but the guys seemed up in the air to me. Sorry to see Philip go, but glad Ade is still there, especially after that amazing solo tonight. Wow.

Fan fiction got added to the dictionary. As did sock puppet, LOLOL.

Ugh, I have some stuff to do before bed that I don't feel like doing. Bah. Also, have to go to my parents' this weekend for my dad's birthday and I really don't feel like it. At least I will get in some nephew time, right?

I'm watching now, but was spoiled anyway. I was pretty sure that after the Russian Folk Dance, Philip was going to go. And Caitlin has been in the bottom too many times to have stayed. I think the judges got it right.

I loved Ade's solo but was so distracted by the painful Windows noises, I could barely concentrate on the dance! He'll be around for awhile. I am excited to see him dance with someone else. Very cool that Philip (and Caitlin) still get to be on the tour!

My favs are still Brandon and Janette. They always amaze me.

I was totally shocked that Melissa and Ade were in the bottom three, but I was not worried in the least for either of them, because I knew that there was no way that the judges would let either of them go. I was totally ready for Philip to go, and I thought that the one thing that would keep him is if the producers really wanted him for the tour, so I'm glad that they figured out their little way around that. I could have let either Caitlin or Kayla go and have been perfectly happy, so I'm glad it turned out this way tonight.

I wasn't worried about Ade once he did his solo; he was AMAZING. I don't think I had ever seen him do his own style!

I was surprised they finally realized Phillip was a one-trick pony; I thought for sure they would kick Jason to the curb to keep Philip on the tour. Instead they just rearranged the tour to include him! (Which they did with Hok too, when he got dropped before the final 10. I don't have a problem with them doing that; I'd rather the top 10 be dancers who deserve to be there because they're proving themselves every week on the show, instead of the right variety they want on the tour.)
