dianora2First of all, so I've been "tweeting" (very sporadically) from the con, and today Andrew WK started following me! LOLOLOLOL. Maybe he's a 24 fan since that's mostly what I was talking about. Too funny.
Basic highlights of the day: got in to the 24 panel (and got a decent seat); got my picture taken with James Callis and with Michael Hogan; almost got my picture taken with Adam Baldwin but he had a line and I needed to get on line for the 24 panel, woe; almost got knocked over by Margot Kidder; and randomly took a picture with Zachary Levi on the exhibit hall floor.
You guys, ZACHARY LEVI IS HOT AND AWESOME. I will tell the whole story when I can download the pics. But that was the total highlight of my con so far. Eeeeeee! Now I feel like I have to try to go to the Chuck panel tomorrow, LOL.
I also have to share this: while waiting on line for the 24 panel (for TWO HOURS), I was irritated that a lot of the people in line were clearly Whedon fans who wanted to go to the Dollhouse panel afterward. Apparently two of those people were behind me. The one girl said to the other, what panel is up next? And the other girl said, 24. First girl says, who's in that? And the other girl says, and I am not making this up, "Katee Sackhoff and Kiefer Sutherland." OK, I love Katee and all, but giving her top billing over Kiefer for 24 already had me aggravated, and then, THEN, the first girl says....
"Who's Kiefer Sutherland?"
OH MY GOD. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING AT A MEDIA CONVENTION IF YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT. WHAT THE FUCK.
So then first girl was trying to explain and the only movie she could come up with was "this old movie from the 80s," Lost Boys. I WANTED TO CRY, YOU GUYS. I hope they enjoyed the panel. Little fuckers.
Anyway. I'm so tired I can't even stand it so I'm off to bed. More tomorrow!

To be honest, this is probably how I would START describing Keifer Sutherland to someone who didn't know who he was (once I got over my shock). I might end with Christmas tree tackling. :)

When she was trying to think of the name at one point her friend said, "Interview with the Vampire?" and the girl scoffed, "Oh no, it's much older than that."
