So sad about Patrick Swayze, you guys. :( Pancreatic cancer scares the crap out of me. Since I'm a hypochondriac I have a whole special worry area just for that scary shit. RIP, Swayze. You helped make the 80s awesome, and you will always be Orry Main to me.

And Kathryn Joosten has lung cancer....ugh, so horrible.

In brighter, more shallow news, Gossip Girl was fun tonight, except for every time Vanessa was on screen. SO BORING AND ANNOYING. Would anyone even notice if they wrote her out? Also, both Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick improved over the summer, and Blake Lively's tan was RIDICULOUS, in an I-am-a-goddess-reincarnated kind of way.

Thank goodness Tim Gunn makes everything better. Especially when he's signing comic books.

On a completely random note, I watched "Destination Truth" for the first time tonight and enjoyed it. Anyone else watch that show?

And where can I get some nice scans of the hot Fringe photo shoot in the new EW?

Finally, thanks to everyone for the kitty wishes. We're pretty sure she suffered a rare, fairly serious negative reaction to one of the vaccines they talked me into giving her at her checkup. NEVER AGAIN. At least their guilty conscience made them cut me a break on the bill. Sigh.
