This month is my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. As a result I had to go to my parents' this past weekend for a family dinner, and this coming Sunday is a party of 16 people...taking place in my apartment. My one-bedroom apartment. Yeah. So I'll probably be even more radio silent than usual this week as any moment not spent watching TV will be spent cleaning up around here. I've hired a professional cleaner to do the heavy duty stuff on Friday, but I have a ton of clutter cleaning to do before then. Ugh. I'm totally stressed about this whole thing and want it to be overwith. Hopefully once it is I will have some more LJ time.

ETA: OMG WHUT: Jonathan Jackson returning to play Lucky on General Hospital. I AM NOT SURE HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THIS.

OMG JONATHAN AND BECKY AND TYLER TOGETHER! I'm suddenly 25 again! Must. Process. (And OMG returning to a LOVE TRIANGLE WITH BECKY AND TYLER!!)

ETA #2: HE STARTS ON THURSDAY! How did they keep this under wraps??? THAT IS NOT ENOUGH TIME TO DEAL WITH MY FEELINGS.

About the JJ news. I alternate between WTF and Wha-huh? I mean, he has always been my favorite Lucky -- but it's just so strange. Not to mention that my students just watched "Tuck Everlasting" with him in it -- and he looked Lucky-aged, back then. So strange indeed...and yet, I'm freaking excited to see it all unfold. Hee!

It is weird, he totally has that Leonardo DiCaprio syndrome where he still looks 16. What's really going to be interesting is -- if it's JJ's Lucky, how can they NOT put him and Liz back together? But right now Liz is saying she's not in love with Lucky anymore...I dunno.

I watched GH today for the first time in 6 months. No idea where Maxie/Spinelli came from or what Jammer;s deal is...sol now I have to start watching again!?! They fired the dude who couldent emote? Man, I wish the twop gossip thread was open.

Maxie and Spinelli....ugh. I guess I'm supposed to like it b/c the geek got the girl, but I mostly find it irritating.

Jammer is Sonny's son but neither of them knows it. He's a cop who's undercover in Sonny's organization. I fast forward through all things Sonny-related so don't know too much more except that he likes Lulu. He's supposed to be this big heartthrob which kind of cracks me up since he's, you know, Jammer. *g*

I just heard about the the GH thing, too. I was much more a fan of JJ's Lucky than Greg's Lucky, back in the day. I am interested to see how this is all going to work. Lucky is sooooo different now, so he can't just revert. But it will be nice to see the old gang all back together, minus Amber.

Yeah, it's somehow going to be weird seeing JJ's Lucky being a family man/doormat. Very interested to see what they will do. Did they know JJ was coming back when they decided to have Liz hook up with Nikolas? I wonder....

Yeah, JJ's Lucky was never, ever a doormat. I wonder if he will get some of that backbone back. It would be nice. This Liz/Nikolas thing will be very interesting to see play out with this group on people. And to think I was thinking about not watching anymore.

My sister called me a little earlier to tell me about Jonathan Jackson's return, and to be honest, I'm still in shock. I can't condone them firing Greg to let Jonathan come back because I was super pissed when OLTL sacked Christina Chambers just because Susan Haskell wanted to come back (and I love Susan Haskell - ok well, I did back in the day, I like her fine now). But at the same time, this is Lucky. Real Lucky, you know? How could I not be thrilled?
