Battlestar Galactica and I broke up tonight. Which doesn't mean I'm not going to keep watching. But we've decided that it's for the best if we just remain friends.

Be warned, there is ranting ahead. I pulled back a little, so it's not my full capability of ranting. ;) It's funny, during the episode I was just kind of meh and bored. It wasn't until I wrote this up that I realized I actually disliked the episode this strongly. I've done the abusive relationship thing already, thanks. )

It's especially a shame since [livejournal.com profile] oeilade came over this weekend for some more BSG marathoning and we watched a big chunk of season 2. Although we ended with "Black Market," which I suppose was a timely reminder of how bad this show can be sometimes. All that said, Jamie Bamber still needs to call me, as he is unspeakably beautiful. Sigh.

Dresden Files, however, was enjoyable, with echoes of...Grave Peril? Is that the one? Liked Murphy more in this episode, especially when she showed up all sloppily dressed. That's the Murphy I know. ;)

And more importantly, I saw the nephew yesterday, and he can now finally say Aunt Dia which made me very happy. :)

I originally had political stuff to say too, but I'm so aggravated that if I contemplate the current state of American politics right now my head will explode. I'm sure you're all relieved.
I have to take a moment to thank Prison Break, which I realized, thinking about it tonight, is a show that has never, ever, let me down. I have never ended an episode of PB thinking, "Well, that sucked." Or even, "Well, that was kinda boring." It just delivers consistently week after week. For me, anyway. It's the little show that could, and does. *pets* Plus, sexy phone voices! ) Very excited for shipper squee next week.

As for 24, this was one of those filler episodes. Except for... Ohnoes! )

I liked Studio 60 quite a bit tonight. Turtlenecks are hot. )

Oh, and I watched The Hills but don't really have anything to say except, once again, Brody Jenner, ewww. And Heidi's birthday outfit was weird.

The guy who plays the Simon Cylon on Battlestar Galactica is going to be on General Hospital. Ha ha ha ha. That is a fandom collision of the most bizarre order. Apparently GH is going to attempt to have an actual storyline of some kind for its black cast members. I will believe it when I see it. ;P

I know my fanfic standards are possibly stricter than most, but, I don't think it's out of line to not want to read any story in which periods are not used at the ends of sentences. Is it?

I was in a really, really terrible mood for most of the day today, but I think I'm getting a bit better now. *deep breath*
