Seriously. Prison Break (Wentworth). 24 (Kiefer). Studio 60 (Bradley). After all I have done for TV, TV is now trying to kill me. Et tu, tee vee?

Prison Break made me giggle and gigglesnort and cackle with delight. Considering how violent this show is, that's quite an achievement. My love for this show can be summed up in one exchange, when Michael was quizzing Kellerman about the logistics of the compound, mapping everything out in his head, and Lincoln told Kellerman that if anything went wrong he'd blow his head off. HA HA HA. I love those boys, I really do. So, yeah, all that stuff was great. I was spoiled for Steadman offing himself but I'm sure it would have been really shocking if I hadn't known about it. And I kind of forgot about the whole Veronica thing until Lincoln brought it up, heh. Wentworth's letting his hair grow in a wee bit and I like it, as long as it doesn't get much longer than that.

The T-Bag stuff was pretty great, mainly because of the crazy ass stuff he was saying. "See what I did there? Maize is the Indian word for corn." "I don't get it, I'm cornfused." HA HA HA HA. Also: CREEPY. Loved the picture of domesticity quickly devolving into terror. Robert Knepper rules.

Bellick: seriously, who the hell cares. I hope they beat the shit out of him. Man, that big guy was BIG. Holy crap.

C-Note: Meh. Although I thought his talking to the doll was cute and funny.

Mahone: I liked that you could tell that was a very expensive white t-shirt he was wearing. Killing the guy: awesome. Calling Bill Kim "Kimmy?" Priceless.

Overall, decent ep, but the real action comes next week and the week after that. Cannot wait.

24 made me scream in surprise. A lot. Whenever I see that guy I think oh, it's Leonard Betts/Dr. Romano. So for a minute I didn't even REMEMBER that he was the guy pulling President Logan's strings last season! AND THEN I DID REMEMBER. HOLY SHIT. THAT IS SO COOL. Just when I think this show can't shock me anymore, they go and do it again. SO MUCH LOVE. And Jack is torturing him already, ha ha ha ha. Brotherly love. And Rena Sofer! That was a nice surprise. Love her. Interesting that she used to have a thing with Jack. Guess they're keeping her in reserve in case they can't get Kim Raver back.

For a split second I thought the bimbo who got in that guy's car was Kim. Whew.

DB Woodside is hot as hell, but, I'm starting to realize that he can't really act. I think in the past I was always blinded by his hotness. Sigh.

I'm kind of loving the guy from The Matrix Reloaded. Wahlid? Anyway, he needs to keep on keepin' on. Regina King is getting annoying, though.

The helicopter scene was off the hook. Look at them, blowing their budget and everything. So adorable.

All in all, mostly a filler episode, but the Greg Bauer reveal was so cool, who cares?

And then Studio 60 was on. And, I think this Monday night lineup is making Jack Rudolph my favorite character. So I just finished watching two hours of the PB boys trying to unravel a government conspiracy and save their skins no matter what it takes, and Jack Bauer beating the shit out of terrorists and saving the world at all costs. And then...there's the people who work on Studio 60, who seem very indecisive and whiny in comparison. Which, you know, normally I'm fine with, but they're really suffering in this lineup, let me tell you. But Jack Rudolph is being all ballsy and take-charge and throwing caution to the wind and saving the day, and I'm like, OK, this is more like the characters I've just spent the past couple hours with, thank god! Seriously, Jack was AWESOME tonight. Loved, loved, loved the scene where he's practicing Chinese outside the concert hall. That was my favorite scene of the episode. Loved every moment of that entire sequence, actually. Loved the boardroom scene, too. Loved him chomping on a hot dog while on the phone with Jordan. He was off in his own cool little show, there. Yay Jack. Who knew??

Anyway. So, I thought that Danny in the Christmas episode was hot, take-charge, going after what he wants (see above). And then tonight he was totally a stalker. WTF. Danny, STOP. STOP IT. Maybe we're getting to see why he's already been divorced twice. The letter of recommendation idea was funny until he actually DID it. Oy. Then again, I thought the scenes for next week looked interesting (and well-lit), so we'll see. But tonight? No. Just...no.

Matt and Suzanne were hilarious together. So happy Suzanne is getting more scenes. Sexyboss, ha ha ha.

Tom and Lucy are so cute I can't even stand it, and part of that is because Nate Corddry is reminiscent of Martin Freeman, but I'm okay with that. Too bad he's going to have to dump Lucy to take the businessman's daughter. Poor Lucy. Poor Tom. So cute.

I think I really love Darius now. I mean, I always did, but now I really do. You show 'em, Darius.

The Jordan story was only saved by her realizing she was being a bitch and apologizing. Because you know what, there ARE good reality shows and bad reality shows -- I watch both, but I know the difference. And people who turn their noses up at all reality shows are usually people who've never seen the good ones (or the bad ones either, for that matter, but anyway). Whatever, Sorkin. It resolved well, though, so I'm mollified. A little. Liked Jordan and Harriet having lunch, that was cute.

All in all, not a bad episode, but Jack's story was the only one with any movement or verve.

Note for GH viewers: Tony Geary returns on February 1st. Thank god. Also, Stuart Damon's storyline may not resolve the way it was originally reported. If I find out for sure I'll let you know. (He's still leaving, though, and apparently very unhappy about it.)

That's all I got. Eye doctor can't figure out what's wrong with my eye, but it looks okay, so...yeah. Story of my life.

And that would explain the look Jack gave him too.

Dammit, now you have me replying to myself.

Hee! That whole scene was super awkward on way more than just a usual estranged family level. I'm just sayin'!

I'm not the only one thinking about the look on Jack's face was suspicious.
Woo!
