What's also awesome is how this scene recreated the shot from the opening scene of the mini, when Donovan was filming the guerrilla fighter shooting at the helicopter.

YES. Gah, love that.

The original miniseries really does hold up so long as you ignore the 80s fashion and bad special effects. ;)
